You may repeat a skill for difficulty [can do circles on Pommel Horse two times for 2 A parts]

Deduct .5 from this category for each part less then eight [-.5 for seven parts, -1.0 for six parts etc.]

* SKILLS CAN FALL IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES
i.e. - jam on HB can fulfill - dorsal OR inbar; the press handstand on SR can fulfill swing to strength/press handstand or strength hold [Moy fulfills the hang requirement only]
ONE SKILL CAN FULFILL ONLY ONE CATEGORY. If that skill is repeated it may NOT fulfill an additional category.
*EXCEPTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS:
FX - Headspring healy twirl can fulfill the acrobatic forward or the leaps turns category [not both]
PH - Scissor skills [including scissor hops] can fulfill only the single leg category
PB - Underbar skills can only fulfill the swing through hang category
HB - Straddle cut can fulfill the inbar category or the release category [not both]
Eagle giant can fulfill the eagle category or the long hang category [not both]

GENERAL RULES
A gymnast may repeat any skill and receive full difficulty value. The second time a skill is shown it cannot fulfill any special requirements or receive bonus. Any skill shown for the third time will not receive any credit. A skill is said to be a "different skill" if it appears in a different "box" or has its own identification number.
KEEP CURRENT RANGE OF SCORES
A spotter is required on SR and HB. If there is no spotter present when required, the exercise may not begin. If the spotter walks away where required, deduct .2 each time. Additional spotters are acceptable.
A HS C cannot be value raised, with the following exceptions;
RINGS - any swing skill directly to a strength skill increases the strength skill one letter
POMMEL HORSE - skills normally performed on both pommels will increase one letter value if performed on the leather. On the leather = 1 or 2 pommels between the hands or hands between the pommels.
Short Routine - if a routine has less then eight parts deduct .5 per missing part from Exercise Presentation. Deduct .5 for each part less then eight [-.5 for seven parts, -1.0 for six parts etc.]
SR, V, PB, HB; a gymnast may use an 8" skill cushion.
Dark pants are acceptable.
FLOOR EXERCISE
1 - gymnasts may use a 4" landing mat for any pass, but the mat must stay on the floor for the entire routine.

POMMEL HORSE
1 - the McKinney mount = B [jump to moore without inward flank and grip change of lead hand to same pommel and ½ turn to stride support]

COMPULSORY

1 - If a part is partially completed [more than 50%] it should receive credit and the appropriate deduction should be taken.
2 - All holds are two second holds unless otherwise noted. Holds for less then one second should receive a deduction of -.30.
3 - All landing deductions will be as per FIG.
4 - There are no required number of steps in the run prior to a tumbling sequence in the compulsory or optional routines.
5 - Each skill in the compulsory routine is worth 1.00
6 - The lowest score given on any routine, compulsory or optional is a 1.00. There are no zero vaults unless the gymnast zero vaults twice as defined by the FIG. If the gymnast has to vault a
second time, a 1.00 deduction is taken from the second vaults start score.
7 - Pommel Horse; if the travel prior to the dismount is done on the leather a deduction of -.30 will be taken.
8 - Horizontal Bar; the hop from under grip giant has no height requirement.
